Menu – Delicious 'Reducing' Dish
Kazuomi
told Ringo that that his mother and Watanabe had arrived back yesterday and
asked her to visit since they would give her something. Ringo was excited about
it. At Kazuomi’s house, the two greeted them as Kaede said that it was a good
thing that Watanabe can cook. They gave Ringo some spices from India. Then,
Kaede pointed to Ringo that Mahito is on the television. He was able to fulfill
his dream of making it in Hollywood. Ringo was happy for him. Kazuomi was a bit
jealous then Ringo asked what happened to Ayanna who had went with Mahito to
study in an acting school. Kazuomi was a bit worried about Ayanna since she gets
irrirated easily. After the two left, Watanabe said that it seemed that nothing
had changed – relationship between Ringo and Kazuomi. Kaede said that it
seemed so as if they are still shooting for a show. Watanabe told her that
someday, something would change for the two.
At
school, Ringo asked Michiyo if she and Shinido had already kissed. Michiyo
blushed so Ringo said that it seemed that they had. Michiyo asked if there is
something wrong between her and Kazuomi. Ringo confessed that it was nothing but
it felt the same when they were still shooting, nothing had changed. Michiyo
said that it will take time for her to realize that feeling and things would
greatly change until then. Kazuomi arrived in the classroom with Ayanna leaning
on his shoulder.
Ringo
was surprised to see Ayanna and asked why she had came back – wasn’t she
suppose to be in the United States. Ayanna answered that it was because her
father is quite sad about her leaving and he would be very lonely so in the end,
they are holding her back from Hollywood. Ringo remembered that scene when
Shiroyama is pleading Ayanna not to go. Ayanna thought that she cannot tell them
the real reason why she came back.
Then,
she noticed that Kazuomi and Ringo were very close with each other and was
surprised that many things happened while she was gone. Kazuomi had brought an
apple pie and asked the others to taste it. Ayanna then whispered to Ringo that
it seemed that she is getting fat and it seemed that ever since Ringo doesn’t
appear on the television anymore, she is gaining weight, Kazuomi ought to be
pitied. Ringo was speechless since what Ayanna said was true but she asked
Ayanna doesn’t she need to reduce since she is doing auditions. Ayanna assured
her that she is already reducing so that she can be an actress in Japan.
When
Ayanna left, Ringo asked if she could also reduce. Kazuomi said that she should
just avoid fatty foods. When one is reducing, one should not forget to get the
nutrients that the body needs or else, the hair and skin would not look good.
There is a diet which can make one reduce some weight when one only eats three
meals a day, no snack and had lots of exercise. Michiyo added that she should
also reduce eating too many sweets. Ringo said that there would be a need for a
low-calorie dessert. Kazuomi agreed with her and said that it seemed that
Ayanna’s reducing had made her look pale. Ringo wondered that it seemed that
Kazuomi keeps on noticing Ayanna.
Ayanna
had been absent for three days already and Ringo thought that maybe there is
something about her health as noticed by Kazuomi. The teacher asked Kazuomi to
bring some homework to Ayanna since he lived near her place. Ringo quickly said
that she wanted to go with him since she is also worried about Ayanna. At
Ayanna’s house, she was sleeping and she could smell something nice and it
seems to be good to eat. Kazuomi asked if she was okay and Ayanna woke up to see
Kazuomi and Ringo visiting her.
Kazuomi
said that they were very worried since she haven’t gone to school for three
days and they heard that she had been reducing so they gave her a bowl of congee
to help her regain her strength. Ayanna said that it was good. Ringo asked what
happen while she was in the United States since she had been acting a bit weird
ever since she came home. Ayanna said that she cannot tell Ringo about it so
Kazuomi asked Ringo to go out for a while. After she left, Kazuomi told Ayanna
that Ringo was just worried about her and he did notice that she had been acting
a bit weird lately. Ayanna confessed that she lied about the reason why she
returned and that it was because she was accepted in an acting school. She
wanted to be a Japanese actress to show off to the others for she was told that
she was too fat that she cannot be an actress. Kazuomi said that even if she is
reducing, she must try to have all the nutrients she needs and he would help her
by making her lunch boxes. Ringo wasn’t very happy to hear that.
At
school, Michiyo noticed that Kazuomi and Ayanna tend to hang out with each
other. She asked if it was okay with Ringo and Ringo said that it was okay.
Kazuomi asked them to join them but Ayanna said that she doesn’t want to be
with Ringo. Ringo just told her that it is okay. Ayanna wondered if it was
really okay. Ringo thought that it is no big deal for Kazuomi can do what he
likes, and he is just making lunch boxes but her heart seemed to be feeling
something else. Michiyo asked where is the dessert and Ringo thought of making
something sweet since people on diet can eat a bit of sweet and she would be
able to help Kazuomi.
The
next day, Ringo asked where Ayanna was and someone told her that she is with
Kazuomi at the roof. At the roof, Kazuomi asked what Ayanna wanted to tell him.
Ayanna said that he had been doing a lot of things for her and asked if Kazuomi
had fallen for her.
Ringo
was shocked and dropped her bag of cookies as the two were surprised. Ringo
shouted that it couldn’t be because Kazuomi belongs to her as Ringo quickly
realized that she really likes Kazuomi. She ran off. Kazuomi hoped that Ayanna
would understand that he had liked Ringo ever since. He went off to get Ringo.
Ayanna wondered what they are fussing as if they are fools, she knew even before
about it [Kazuomi-Ringo relationship]. She noticed the bag which Ringo left and
there was a recipe written inside which says, it is chocolate cookies since
potato flour is used it is quite healthy and it is okay to eat a bit of sweets.
Ayanna tasted it.
Ringo
is still running fast as she wondered why she is always like this and realized
that things are not the same anymore since she likes Kazuomi. Kazuomi managed to
caught up with her. Ringo confessed that she isn’t angry and that she is just
jealous, a feeling she doesn’t like. Kazuomi reaffirms his love for her as
Kazuomi said that he is glad to see her get jealous.
Ayanna
interrupted them by saying that Ringo left her bag. She said that she doesn’t
need Kazuomi to keep on making lunch boxes for her since she can do it on her
own. Ringo said that cookies are for her. Ayanna said that she doesn’t need it
for even if it is very nutritious, eating too much can make someone fat. Ringo
asked if it was true. Ayanna got a cookie from the bag as she said…
