25 – Good Morning, Have Everyone Eaten?
Ringo
muses that she, now, only sees Mahito in television programs. Everything was
just like a dream.
On their way, Michiyo tells Ringo that even after she knew the story about what happened, she is still unhappy about it. She feels that it would have been better if Mahito had stayed with Ringo. Ringo said it wasn’t so for both Ayanna and Mahito looked well together. She told Michiyo that all she had to do is give her best for the program.
Later on,
since Michiyo is still worried about Ringo, she meets up with Kazuomi. They are
both worried about Ringo and Kazuomi says that Ringo have been eating less
lately. Michiyo says that she will be with Ringo but she doesn’t know how to
help her. Kazuomi comments that Michiyo is nice. Michiyo blushed. Kazuomi starts
to talk to himself about cooking a dish which Ringo likes but immediately drops
the subject when Michiyo asked what he is talking about.
Walking home, Ringo tries to psyche herself that she can do the recipe for the next program and won’t let herself lose to Ayanna. She passes by a bakery and looks in. The baker notices her since her stomach was growling quite loudly. He recognizes her from the show and invites her in. He shows her the different kinds of bread and teaches her how to make Irish bread. Later on, she bids him goodbye and thanks him for his time. The baker tells her to do her best for the show. Ringo is happy to hear that and tells him that she will.
At home,
Kazuomi is getting impatient for Ringo haven’t returned home yet and it is
late. Kazuomi tells her to eat but she turned it down. Her mother is freaking
out why her daughter won’t eat while Kazuomi is sad for he cooked one of her
favorite dish. It turned out that Ringo was already full from eating bread at
the bakery.
At the
studio, Ringo is running to the meeting room since she is late. She, then,
overhears them talking that they still cannot find a substitute for Mahito and
at this rate, the show might be cancelled soon. Ringo gets scared and starts to
run away. She bumps into Kaede, Kazuomi’s mother. Ringo starts to cry.
In some other room, Kaede calls Watanabe to meet with her about Ringo. Kaede will help them sort the problem out since her work is finished. Watanabe comes and greets Kaede a bit uneasily. ^-^
Watanabe
tries to ask Ringo what is the problem for everyone was worried about her. Ringo
said that she is not enough for the show to continue. They were thinking of a
substitute for Mahito when Kaede tells them that she have an idea who would be a
good substitute. Ringo asks her who it was. Kaede replies that it is the young
genius cook. Ringo exclaims in delight while Watanabe is puzzled over whom they
meant.
Kaede and Ringo tries to convince Kazuomi to agree but he doesn’t want to. He is trying to protect his manly image and doesn’t want others to know that he can cook. Even Ringo’s puppy eyes look has no effect.
Ringo
gives up and tells him that if he doesn’t want, she understands. She will just
have to do it on her own and that she will cook Irish bread for breakfast
tomorrow. She wants him to test its taste. She then left. Kaede tells Kazuomi to
think it over for the program is in danger of being cancelled. She asks him,
“What is more important, his manly image or the girl he likes to be in
such a situation?” After she left, Kazuomi thinks about what her mother had
said and wonders if he can do it.
The next day, Ringo shows Kazuomi the bread that she made. Kaede is still sleeping for she was working late at night. Kazuomi tastes the bread she made and comments that it is tasty. Ringo is delighted about it. Kazuomi then tells her that he is agreeing to help her for the show even though he is not sure if it will be actually be, of help for the program. He thinks to himself that he can do everything just for Ringo. Ringo is very happy about it and gives Kazuomi a hug.
Meanwhile,
Ayanna read in the newspaper about it and became hysterical that Ringo and
Kazuomi will be in the show together.
