Menu 35 – The World’s Most Delicious Dish

Whenever I'm making a very famous dish, I  always feel like saying, ‘Cooking is fun,’ and when my loved one would say, ‘Very Delicious’ dish…that is my new dream.  

At the studio, Kazuomi had just arrived as Watanabe comments that he was quite early. Kazuomi says that it is because he is quite uneasy since it is already their last show. Kazuomi noticed some world famous apples and asked what will be done with them. Watanabe said that it would be nice to use apples as the last recipe for the show. Kazuomi learned that Ringo haven’t arrived yet. Watanabe said that Ringo went out for a while to go with Mahito to the airport. He asked if Ringo had decided to go with Mahito. Kazuomi answered that he never asked.

At the airport, Ringo managed to catch up with Mahito before he leaves. Mahito said that he thought she wouldn’t come. Ringo told him that she couldn’t go to the United States. Mahito was surprised. Ringo explained the she really wanted to be an idol and actress before but after three years working in ‘Happy Cooking Hour’ she had decided that she really likes to cook. She wanted to be a real genius cook and that maybe someday, she can have her own cooking show. Ringo bowed as she told him that this is her dream so she is very sorry.

Mahito told her that it seemed that deciding whether to go to the United States had really given her a hard time. Ringo said that it is okay since she really need to analyze things and she learned that she must do what she wanted to do and decide on her own what she wanted. Mahito asked if she also decided between him and Kazuomi. Ringo was caught off guard as Mahito asked if Ringo likes Kazuomi. Ringo cried as she asked how did he know. Mahito said that she already noticed when she couldn’t kiss him. Ringo quickly apologized.

Ringo confessed that she really like him before but…Mahito interrupted and said that she doesn’t have to explain it to him. Ringo thought that she never lied about having liked Mahito, her favorite super star and she had spent a lot of happy times with him but, she cannot make him as her boyfriend. Mahito said that Kauzomi really thinks of her and that she shouldn’t think much of him and he wished her to be true to herself. Ringo cried that she is a very bad for having done all these to him. Mahito told her to smile since from the beginning he saw her, he quickly noticed that she is a smiling girl.

Mahito bid her goodbye as  he thinks to himself that he was greatly helped by that smile of hers. Ringo smiled as she tells to herself that she was really grateful for having met Mahito, Thanks and Goodbye. As the airplane flies off, Mahito puts his hand over his forehead as he said, ‘Good luck’ while Ringo looked over the sky as the airplane goes up to the sky. When, she went down to the departure area, she was surprised by all the shouting. It was Ayanna walking with her suitcase as her father, Shiroyama tried to stop her from going to the United States.

Ringo was surprised to see them as Ayanna told her father that Hollywood is waiting for her. Since Ringo had decided not to go, she would go in her place to be a famous actress and go to a prestigious school. She can also be with Mahito and she can even be with Mahito. She can like Mahito and that they would have a show together but even then, she can never leave Kazuomi. Ringo sweatdropped. Ringo thought to herself that with Ayanna’s will power, she can be an actress and that it seemed that Ayanna had already decided what she wanted to do in her life. Ringo quickly ran off as she said to herself that she, too, must go.

At the studio, Ringo had arrived as she apologized for being late. Kazuomi was quite happy to see her. Ringo then mentioned that today would be their last show and asked if Kazuomi remembered that during the audition, she made an apple dish. Kazuomi said yes. Ringo said that ever since then he was always there to help him with all the dishes she made in the show for the last three years and she want to thank him for being there for her. Kazuomi was worried since it seemed to be like Ringo saying goodbye so he quickly asked if she would really go to the United States. Ringo hugged a very surprised Kazuomi as she told him that she isn’t going. She apologized for being stupid since she haven’t noticed it…her own feelings…she confessed that she likes Kazuomi.

She cries that she wanted to be with Kazuomi forever so she had decided to stay to be with him. She said that she is really like this and asked if he still likes her. Kazuomi hugged her and said that she didn’t have to ask that. They were facing each other as Ringo closed her eyes. Kazuomi was going to bend over to kiss when Kaede and Ringo’s parents went in the room to encourage them regarding their last show. Kaede then asked if they had interrupted something. Kazuomi was sad that he had waited all this time and had been persevering for so long that it to be hindered again. Ringo grabbed him by the collar and gave him a kiss. Kazuomi was blushing as their parents looked surprised especially Ringo’s dad. She told him to get ready for their last show and to do his best. Kazuomi was still blushing as he said that he would do his best.

During the show, Ringo told the audience that they will be making apples and made Kazuomi sit throughout the show. She said that she will be making a dish for Kazuomi. While peeling the apples with a knife, Kazuomi said that before this is one of the most dangerous procedures for Ringo. Ringo said that with a lot of practice, she managed to do it right. Kazuomi said that apples can help in making the feelings of two lovers toward each other to become stronger especially if two lovers eat an apple dish together. The dish they made is apple cake. Ringo announces that it would be lonely since she won’t be able to be with the audience anymore but she will try to become a real genius cook as she would keep on cooking from now on. The two commented that they would hope that someday would have a good cooking show again and that they will all meet again. They thank the audience for supporting them for the past three years. Everyone popped some poppers as they gave Ringo a bouquet of flowers. Watanabe congratulated them as he had a toast with Kaede. Ringo’s mom was quite happy that she would be able to taste Kazuomi’s dish again while Ringo’s dad is quite shocked over Ringo having a boyfriend. 

So, what is the most delicious dish in the world? Of course, when one had overflowing of emotions and it turned into something delicious then as one’s beloved is going to taste it, he would say…
